SoundLife Hearing Technologies services all makes and models of hearing aids.
There are six major hearing aid manufacturers in the world: Siemens, Oticon, Starkey, Phonak, Widex and ReSound. With all these options, you need an expert to help you choose the best hearing technology for your life. It's very difficult to successfully research this online because the manufacturers do not use the same terminology. Oticon's premium instrument, the Alta Pro, utilizes 10 channels. I know of some private brands (think warehouse stores) that utilize 64 channels and the quality is not on par with the Alta Pro. So it's not all about channels, it's about the total hearing experience.
For years we have watched these companies jockey for position with regard to who makes the best hearing devices and then we adjust what we are fitting to what we think is currently the best technology. We are committed to providing you with the best option that will help improve your life. One advantage of not being owned by one of the factories (many "local" offices are now fronts for the manufacturers) or locked into one brand (such as Beltone, Miracle Ear, NuEar, etc.) is that we have the freedom to choose the best technology for you. And doing what's best for you is not the goal of every office.
What is the best brand for me?
Choosing the best hearing technology is a combination of a patient's personal preference and the technology that's currently available. We have found that sometimes a brand that works great for one patient will not work as well for a different patient. SoundLife Hearing Technologies has teamed up with four of the six manufacturers listed above and we work with them on your behalf to provide you with the best choice for your hearing loss and lifestyle.
